Dr. Sowjanya is specialized in Emergency Medicine with an experience of over 15 years spanning across the emergency and critical care practices. She has served as Chief Coordinator of QA Activities through NABH / JCI Accreditations at Continental Hospital and as Full Assessor for NABH and Member of the Association of Physician Leaders, USA.

Dr. Sowjanya has been involved with various professional bodies like the American Heart Association, International Federation of Emergency Medicine (IFEM), American College of Emergency Physicians and many more. She is currently the National Treasurer for Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI), as well as Secretary (SIG) – Gender Specific Issues.

As the CMO at Vigocare, Dr. Sowjanya drives Clinical Research & Product Strategy to drive development of cutting-edge solutions.

Advisor

Dr. Lee serves as a Professor, Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, is a Cardiologist and a Cardiac Electrophysiologist who specializes in the treatment of arrhythmias and prevention of stroke. He finished his clinical training in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of California, San Francisco in 1992.

In addition to the development of devices and techniques for the treatment of arrhythmias and embolic stroke prevention, Dr.Lee has an active cardiac tissue engineering laboratory for myocardial repair/reconstruction; and a program for applying AI/ML for the detection of arrhythmias and patient wellbeing.

CTO

Mr. Akkiraju brings over twenty years of experience to Vigocare, spanning a mix of enterprise and entrepreneurship.

As CTO, Akki is the Solutions owner – he oversees all software and AI engineering. He enjoys building highly technical teams and leading them to deliver technology, products, and solutions via painstakingly built methodologies.

Akki also spearheads R&D and data science partnerships at Vigocare. His vision for Vigocare is to improve the quality of patient care manifold by providing reliable, accurate insights using data science.

FOUNDER / CEO

Dr. Sekhar is a maxillofacial surgeon by qualification and a serial entrepreneur by passion. He has over 18 years of experience in building consumer-focused, scale organisations across healthcare and technology sectors. He is renowned for building A+ teams and spearheading a wide spectrum of challenging business environments to build businesses from the ground up.

As the CEO, Sekhar brings vision and medical expertise to the table. Vigocare is very close to his heart – he envisions connecting care providers with millions of people globally, without borders, and enabling timely decisions ahead of the disease – pushing people to the right action, at the right time.
